First thing is to add meets to your team calendar:

1-Go to your team page.

2-On the left is the 2020 Season Calendar

3-Click Add a Meet. Make sure you have it set for Nevada

4-Select the Month…like August

5-Find the meets in August that you want to attend and Click on the meet. On the bottom you will see “Add to Calendar” of your school. Click that.

6-Do the previous procedure for all meets that you will be attending. Refer to the CCSD XC Schedule to find your weekday meets.

Then add your athletes to your roster:

1-All the 2019 kids have transferred over to the 2020 roster with a "grade up" change. This is automatic from year to year.

2-If any of those kids are no longer with the program, deactivate them.

3-Click Edit athletes and click deactivate.

4-Add any new kids. Click Add Athletes tab. Make sure the name spelling and grade is correct.

Registering for Meets:

1-For every meet on your calendar, before the deadline, click register athletes.

2-Click the drop down next to each athlete and select the correct division they will run in for that meet.

3-That's it!! Do that for each meet. You have until the deadline to make any registration changes. Decided not to attend an Invitation that you placed on your calendar: You must delete that meet from your calendar before the deadline. Invitational Meet Directors can see the teams that have “calendared” the meet. They use this to get an idea of how many athletes will be attending. So, if you’re not going, delete the meet from your calendar.

Invitational Entry Fees:

1-You will be charged for the number of athletes that you register. Not the athletes that actually run, but for the number that you register! So if you registered “Billy Smith“ and you find out before the deadline that he cannot attend, delete his registration or you will still be charged for his entry.

2- Some Invitationals have chosen to use Athletic.net’s On-Line Payment. This requires that you use a credit card to pay for entry. Either use your school’s credit card, or check with your banker to see if you can use your personal credit card and be reimbursed. Receipts can be printed right from Athletic.net

3- If an Invitational has chosen for you to bring an entry fee check, the payment is due when you pick up your packet. No Pay-No Packet. See you banker early in the week to get the check processed and ready or you to pick up.

4- If you register athletes and your team does not show up, you are still required to pay.

Meet Timing Chips:

1-Many weekday meets and most all Invitational meets, including Regional, will be “Chip Timed”. Teams will receive a packet with a numbered roster with bib numbers assigned. In the packet will be the timing chips, in numerical order, on a long zip tie. Runners chip number MUST match their roster bib number.

2- Chips must be securely attached to the top of the shoe using twist ties that will be included in your packet. If the chip falls off during the race, the athlete will not receive a place/time. Some schools find it more effective use small zip ties to secure the chips in the shoe laces. What ever works for your team!

3-At the conclusion of the meet, you must return all chips on the long zip tie, in numerical order, to the timer’s area. Missing or lost chips will result in a $20.00 fee per chip.
